During the spring semester of 2004, the Native American House and American Indian Studies were fortunate to have Dr. Beatrice Medicine as the "Elder-in-Residence." Dr. Medicine, a widely-regarded pioneer in the field of Native American Studies, led a seminar entitled "Native American Women."
